The Atlantic Hotel and La Mare Wine Estate are joining forces for a one-night collaboration dinner as part of this year’s Taste Jersey Food Festival.

The event is due to take place on Friday 20 March at 7pm in the Ocean, the hotel’s four AA Rosetter restaurant overlooking St Ouen’s Bay.

The partnership between the two businesses is longstanding, with La Mare products featured throughout the hotel’s daily offerings.

For the collaboration dinner, the hotel’s executive chef Will Holand has created a five-course menu incorporating the produce.

Dishes include house-cured gravadlax infused with Jersey Royal Gin and served with a G&T granita, duck à l’orange glazed with three-fruit marmalade enriched by barrel-aged whisky marmalade, and an apple tart enhanced with spiced apple and black butter.

Drinks include a reception glass of collector’s edition pétillant naturel, with La Mare head winemaker Jordi Sanvicens Moreno introducing the evening.

The Atlantic Hotel hotel Patrick Burke said: “This special evening celebrates the very best of Jersey – our strong sense of community, our independent, creative spirit and the exceptional produce and talent that define our island.

“Will has created a truly inspiring menu, and it promises to be a memorable and thoroughly enjoyable evening.”

The evening is priced at £95 per person, including a reception drink, canapés, five courses, coffee, petits fours and a digestif. An optional drinks pairing is available for £50 per person.
