Carey Olsen’s corporate teams in Jersey and Guernsey are representing Grant Thornton Channel Islands in connection with a sale.
It has been announced that the Grant Thornton Channel Islands will be sold to Grant Thornton Advisors LLC as part of the expansion of its multinational platform, which was established in January 2025.
The Carey Olsen team in Jersey includes partner James Willmott and associate Jacob Woodhouse. The Carey Olsen team in Guernsey includes partner Matthew Brehaut, senior associate Colin Calvert and associate Lisa Bailey.
The announced sale will see Grant Thornton Channel Islands join other Grant Thornton firms on the platform, including firms across Switzerland/Liechtenstein, the United Arab Emirates, Luxembourg, the Cayman Islands and the Netherlands.
The expanded platform will continue to be part of the Grant Thornton International Limited network, which comprises member firms in more than 150 markets worldwide.
The sale is subject to regulatory approval and satisfaction of transaction conditions.
