Dickinson Gleeson founding partner James Dickinson is due to step down after 15 years.

The law firm said that Mr Dickinson had been “instrumental in building a highly successful law firm”, alongside James Gleeson and Craig Swart.

Mr Dickinson will now work as a consultant for the firm, which will continue under the stewardship of partners Mr Gleeson, Mr Swart and Guillaume Staal.

He said: “I would like to thank the staff, clients and intermediaries of Dickinson Gleeson who have made this journey possible.” 

Mr Gleeson added: “I will always be extremely grateful to James Dickinson for inviting me to join him in creating this vibrant and successful law firm. 

“James can be rightly very proud of all that he has achieved with the firm, and he leaves us in an exceptionally strong position, both in terms of our brilliant team of people and the mandates we continue to attract in the most complex disputes and private wealth transactions.”
