Equiom is part of an international trust and corporate services provider, Equiom Group, which has offices in the Island, the Isle of Man and Malta.
Anton Swemmer, Managing Director for Equiom Jersey opened the reception and spoke positively about the recent successes and future plans for the business.
He said since acquiring Andium Trust Company in October 2012, “a detailed integration and harmonisation process has taken place in order to align Equiom Jersey with the wider group”.
“We’ve increased our staff numbers by 35% and we plan to further increase the size and visibility of Equiom Jersey in the near future in line with the growth strategy of the wider group,” he said.
Group Managing Director, Sheila Dean and Group Chairman, Larry Kearns, took the opportunity to provide financial updates on the business and summarised the projected figures for the current financial year and beyond.
Mrs Dean said: “Having been established for two years, Equiom (Jersey) Limited has significantly expanded and we have ambitious growth plans for the future. I’m delighted that so many of our valued colleagues and partners were able to join us to celebrate our successes.”
