He already serves on the Management Committees and Boards of four Charities including The Prince’s Trust Jersey Steering Group, MyVoice Independent Advocacy Jersey, Helping Wings and Alderney Wildlife Trust.
“I am proud to be working with the Foundation in helping change lives for the better across our Islands’ communities,” Mr Heath said. “I have served on the management committees of various charities and believe I can use this knowledge to help strengthen informed decision making by the Foundation.”

Ms Rear, who has more than 20 years’ experience in the charitable sector focused on, added: “I’d like to think I have a fairly good grasp of some of the challenges local charities face. For me, this is an opportunity to use my experience and knowledge in a new capacity, helping to strengthen relationships between local charities and the Foundation.”
Mr Fellows is Senior Manager, Islands Community Banking for Lloyds Bank International, which he joined over 30 years ago. “I am passionate about our Islands and love where we live, but l know it’s not perfect,” he commented on this appointment as Trusteee. “Being able to support local charities through the incredible work the Foundation does is a privilege.”
Katie Le Quesne, the Foundation Chair, said the appointments aimed to broaden the experience of the Board to ensure “diversity in skills, opinions and a future-focused perspective.”
“The calibre and expertise that Brian, Tracey and Neil bring can’t be underestimated and we are delighted they have volunteered for these important positions,” she added.
“2020 is a significant year for the Foundation, marking our 35th year supporting Channel Island charities of all sizes and our grant-giving milestone of £20 million since being established so it’s an exciting time for them to join us.”
