The establishment of the business at New Oxford Street follows the acquisition of corporate services provider SH Landes.

It also comes just four months after Hawksford acquired Asian-based corporate services provider People and Projects (P&P), and is the company’s seventh acquisition since the organisation was backed by private equity house Dunedin.

Group Chief Executive Michel van Leeuwen commented: “This significant acquisition gives us a strong presence in one of the world’s leading international finance centres. It demonstrates Hawksford’s commitment to ensuring that we can provide our clients with first-class solutions in key strategic locations.

“Hawksford has a global client base, and many of our Asian clients are actively looking for access to the UK. Opening a London office will allow us to extend our service offering to UK-based structures. Our London office will provide additional access for our EMEA client base to access coveted Asian markets.”

Hawksford will provide specialist services from its new London base. It will be led by Steven Landes, a chartered accountant with over 30 years’ experience in international finance.

Mr Landes said that he was “looking forward to starting our journey as part of the Hawksford group.”
