A frozen food brand known for its high protein, low-sugar meals has launched in the Channel Islands.

41 Gold Standard Nutrition (GSN) products – which aim to provide an alternative to ready meals – are now being stocked in Coop stores across Jersey and Guernsey.

Craig Allen, Founder of GSN, which was founded in 2012 and recently celebrated selling its 10 millionth meal in the UK, said his team were “incredibly excited” about launching in the Channel Islands.

As part of the partnership, dedicated GSN-branded freezers have been installed in Co-op stores across Jersey and Guernsey.

Kevin Mowatt, Chief Retail Officer at Channel Islands Co-op, said the retailer was “pleased” to welcome what he described as “a strong addition to our range, offering customers a convenient and high protein, low sugar meal option, providing an increased choice of more healthier and simpler meals”.
