The commercial flight charter service launched in November after receiving its Air Operator Certificate.
It has now gained the Pet Travel Scheme–approved carrier status with the help of the States’ veterinary team.

It means that VIPs (Very Important Pets) like Athena (pictured), “a beautiful and much-loved mongrel”, will be now able to travel on their charter flights.
Based at Jersey Airport, Ortac has two 2018 Cessna Citation jets, which are available to charter to destinations throughout Europe, stretching to as far as North Africa.
