The Company’s Head of Trade Sales Zoulls Zenonos said it’s already on sale here in Voisins in both the beauty and the linen department as well as Fenwicks, Urban Outfitters and Champneys Spas across the UK and he says it’s really taken off since appearing as a product in BA’s in-flight magazine. The airline has taken on board thousands of the quirky little holders and he says they have been selling about 2,500 a month.

The company was set up here in 2008 under the name Decrescent Ltd, branched out into the trade market last year and re-branded as Onogo seven months ago. Since then they’ve been on the hunt for products like this they can sell into wholesale.
The team have just come back from the Autumn Trade Fair at the NEC in Birmingham where Mr Zenonos said the “tweexy” got amazing feedback and was nominated for “Gift of The Year 2017”.
He said: “We were getting a lot more attention than any other stands so it was very exciting for us.
“We’re also getting a lot of attention from the likes of MTV who want to use it as product placement in their videos and we’ve got a production team from Hollyoaks looking to use it as part of their storylines.

“Once we’ve got recognised as a brand builder I think we’ll have a lot of companies approaching us to see if we can help them launch their product because of the success of Tweexy. Obviously we’ve got the infrastructure, the expertise and we’ve got the relationships with potential retailers so I think that would be that natural transition really.
“We really think this will be one of the biggest Christmas stocking filler gifts for 2016, so watch this space.”
The “tweexy” retails at £14.95.
