Tania Sobey takes on the role, having previously held the position of Head of Retail Distribution for HSBC Expat based in Jersey, where she had responsibility for teams in Jersey, Hong Kong and Dubai supporting expatriate customers globally.
She will be taking over from Chris Langford, who is moving to another position within HSBC in the UK.
“I’m excited to be taking up a role where I can focus on our island customers and people, as I’m passionate about this wonderful community,” she said.
“My aim will be to make our branches better for customers and our people, ensure that we are giving islanders the kind of tailored services they need, and making sure that HSBC locally continues to play its part in enabling our community to prosper.”
