Based in Jersey, Mr Hingley will be responsible for implementing a strategy to grow the bank’s private wealth business in Jersey.
Commenting on his appointment, Mr Hingley said: “HSBC has real global strength in delivering private wealth solutions in Jersey, and we have world-class expertise that are an ideal fit for internationally mobile private clients. We therefore see real potential to grow our business here, and I’m looking forward to leading on that strategy.”
