This month, Highlands is launching the Association for Project Management (APM) Project Management Qualification (PMQ), in partnership with Skills Jersey and the Channel Islands committee of the APM.

No prior academic qualifications are required to undertake the internationally-recognised qualification, which is a step towards Chartered Project Professional Status, but applicants need to be working in a role that involves them in project activities on a regular basis.

Those on the course, which costs £3,200 including the final examination fee and learning materials, lasts one year and involves both online and face-to-face teaching at Highlands.

Skills Jersey will provide each learner with a Trackers mentor throughout the course to support them and liaise with their employer to ensure that course content is applied effectively in their job.

Anyone interested in learning more about the qualification is invited to attend an information event from 16:30 to 18:30 today (Thursday 8 September) at Bermuda House.
