Mr Maloney, who is based in Jersey, has been a manager of the Melville Douglas Global Equity Fund since 2014. He has over two decades of investment experience as a global equity fund manager in London and Jersey.

Mr Maloney said: “I am humbled by the ranking, especially as it could not have been achieved without the contributions from the rest of the investment team. It is pleasing Citywire recognises that our fund not only delivered top quartile performance over the past one, three and five years but it did so without taking significant risk. This is a trademark of the Melville Douglas investment philosophy.”

Chris Stead, Head of International Portfolio Management said: “I am delighted that Justin’s contribution to the Melville Douglas equity process and our award-winning Global Equity fund has been recognised by the Citywire fund manager ratings. Through experience, discipline of process and shared knowledge, Justin continues to add substantial value to our suite of international investment solutions and underlying clients.”
