Mr Morgan will take up the position from Patricia Wass on 1 January 2019.
Mr Morgan previously held leadership roles within STEP, serving as former Chair of the largest branch, STEP Jersey, joining the worldwide Council in 2013, and the Board in 2017, where he served as Deputy Chair.
Commenting on his appointment, he said: “I am honoured to be elected Chair and I am excited to serve STEP in the next stage of its evolution. I’ll do my utmost to support the member journey, the regions, our wonderful worldwide secretariat and the rest of my fellow board members, to maintain and uphold the vision, mission and values of Step.”
