Jersey has been named the Best International Finance Centre in the Middle East and North Africa region at the 2025 WealthBriefing MENA Awards.
It marks the eighth time the island has won the accolade since the awards began 12 years ago.
The WealthBriefing MENA Awards showcase top-class performance, innovation and achievement within the financial services sector and MENA market.
The gala ceremony took place last week at the Armani Hotel, Dubai with Faizal Bhana, Jersey Finance’s Director for the Middle East, Africa and India, accepting the award.
Jersey Finance CEO Joe Moynihan said the organisation was “delighted to see its commitment recognised” through the award.
“Jersey’s financial and professional services firms take great pride in their deep and long-standing relationships across the MENA region – relationships built on the Island’s stability, robust regulatory standards and highly skilled workforce,” he added.
“Following our Perspectives Women in Leadership series held in the Middle East in October, annual Dubai conference and sponsorship of STEP Arabia earlier this month and events in Riyadh and Jeddah just this week, we’re more committed than ever to the Gulf region – building even stronger partnerships and engaging with a vibrant financial services community that we’re confident will continue to grow and flourish.”
Stephen Harris, CEO of Clearview Financial Media and publisher of WealthBriefing, said: “These awards are immensely valuable as they offer organisations and individuals the opportunity to sharpen their strategic thinking, gain independent validation, be recognised both internally and externally, and celebrate their success in style with industry peers.
“They are all worthy recipients and now join an elite group of wealth management professionals who represent the very best of the industry across MENA and beyond.”
