The JFSC hosts an annual designated D&I month every September when employees take part in activities such as talks from local D&I representatives and are provided with resources about how to make the workplace more inclusive.
“We are committed to supporting our employees and recognise the value of a diverse workforce, as well as the importance of making sure each and every person feels included,” Ms Britton said.
“We hope to reinforce this commitment by joining the IoD D&I Charter which will aid us in our efforts to make staff feel supported whilst at work.”
IoD Jersey Chair Lisa Springate added: “We are delighted to see the JFSC adopting this through their own initiatives as well as by signing up to our Charter. We look forward to seeing how they continue to embrace diversity within their organisation.”
