In his new role, Mr Noel will oversee JT’s continued delivery of innovative wholesale products and services across the CI, UK, Europe and US markets.

His appointment follows the return of former Managing Director, John Diamond, to his native Australia where he will drive forward JT’s Wholesale division expansion into the Asia-Pacific market.

CEO of JT, Graeme Millar, said: “We have a very strong wholesale team which has been lead successfully by John Diamond to this point and I am delighted to announce Tom’s succession to the role of Managing Director. Tom’s promotion to this key role is representative of our commitment to nurturing homegrown talent and I wish him well as we continue to grow our wholesale business.

“Meanwhile I am pleased to announce John’s relocation to Australia to drive our entry into the Asia-Pacific market, where he is tasked with replicating our successes in the UK, Europe and US. This marks a further drive in our strategic focus to develop our business in new markets, so creating revenues to help further drive our investments here in the Channel Islands, which remain our core focus.

“JT has a strong and proven track record in the Wholesale market and we plan to build on this, especially in machine to machine and mobile intelligence, to enhance our existing footprint in Australia which we have attained through our ekit portfolio.”
