JT has sought to strengthen its leadership team with two senior appointments amid an “exciting time” for the business.

Clive Goodwin, who has held senior executive roles at Vodafone and BT, has joined as chief commercial officer.

And Ben Carter, who has also held senior positions within the sector including roles at AT&T, Vodafone and Specialist Computer Centre, has been appointed head of enterprise.

JT chair Andy Green, CBE, said the telecoms firm was welcoming Mr Goodwin and Mr Carter “at such an exciting time for our business and the Channel Islands”.

He continued: “Jersey’s full 5G standalone network and the ongoing roll-out in Guernsey mark a step change in connectivity, opening up new possibilities for our customers, our government partners, and the wider community.

“Clive’s strategic and commercial leadership, combined with Ben’s strong enterprise expertise, will be instrumental in helping us realise this opportunity – strengthening our position as a trusted partner and driving innovation across the islands.”

Mr Goodwin described JT as being “uniquely positioned to lead the next wave of digital innovation in the Channel Islands”.

He said: “I’m excited to join at a time when advanced network capabilities are creating real opportunities to deliver value for customers and communities.”

Mr Carter added that it was a “hugely exciting moment” to join JT.
