The award recognises firms that have significantly increased their international presence and are seen to be on a successful growth trajectory.
Michael Richards, Group Head of Institutional Services, and Andrew Ferreira, Manager – Fund Services (pictured top) attended the ceremony at Chelsea Piers in New York last month.
Wouter Plantenga, ICS Head of Group Client Services, commented on the award: “This award is a reflection of the ambitious plans that JTC has globally, including seven acquisitions last year, of which five were in the US.
“As a FTSE 250 listed firm with over 1,400 staff and over $200bn under administration, we already have a significant global presence and we’re very grateful to Global Custodian for recognising our continued development.”
In 2021, JTC completed a record seven acquisitions across Europe and the US to enhance JTC’s fund offering: RBC cees (Employer Solutions), INDOS Financial (Depositary), Segue Partners (Fund Administration), Ballybunion Capital (AIFM), SALI Fund Services (IDF Administration), perfORM (Operational Due Diligence) and EFS (Fund Services).
In November this year, JTC also acquired New York Private Trust Company (NYPTC), a Delaware-chartered non-deposit trust company.
