From 1 October, Neale Jehan will replace Mr Laity as Senior Partner whilst Andy Quinn, the Channel Islands Head of Audit, will take on his previous role of Managing Partner.

Mr Laity said he was very proud of having been part of KPMG’s leadership team for several years. “I know I leave the firm in capable hands and as I set out on the next stage of my career, I wish Neale, Andy and everybody else at KPMG here and around the world the very best,” he added.

Mr Jehan, who will be based in Guernsey, added: “Jason has dedicated a significant portion of his career to KPMG in the Channel Islands. From working with Jason over the years, I know he will be sorely missed having been the driving force for many initiatives including our move into the digital sector. All of this alongside his day job as one of the leading tax practitioners in the islands.

“It is with great pride as a local partner in the firm that I take on this role at a pivotal time for our industry. The firm will continue to focus on our core financial services client base, working even closer with our global network and will continue to help drive forward the economies of the islands whilst supporting the community with our extensive CSR programme.”
