Senator Ian Gorst, will be one of seven panellists in a discussion alongside the Economic Secretary to the Treasury, John Glen MP, focusing on the role International Financial Centres play in supporting and driving growth within the Commonwealth.

The Minister for External Relations, Senator Sir Philip Bailhache, will participate in an Island Leaders Roundtable, which will consider how island states can distinguish themselves from others. 

He will also attend the ‘Global Economic Outlook: Trade, Growth and The Commonwealth’ session, led by the Rt. Hon. Liam Fox MP, Secretary of State for International Trade. The session will focus on how the Commonwealth can lead the world in encouraging growth and championing free and fairer trade. 

The Commonwealth Business Forum is one of four forums taking place from 16 to 20 April 2018, when the United Kingdom hosts the biannual Commonwealth Summit.
