Ahead of Mental Health Awareness Week, more staff at Crestbridge Family Office Services have received training on how to identify signs of mental health conditions, provide initial support and signpost to professional help – with over a third of the team now accredited mental-health first aiders.
The training, which also aims to help foster and support a culture of mental well-being in the workplace, was delivered by mental health charity Mind Jersey.
It forms part of a continued partnership between Crestbridge FOS and Youthful Minds, which is part of Mind Jersey.
I’m really pleased that, through our ongoing partnership with Youthful Minds and against the backdrop of Mental Health Awareness Week, so many of our team opted to take up this valuable opportunity to become accredited Mental Health First Aiders

Following the successful training of this latest cohort, 35% of the Crestbridge FOS Jersey team are now accredited mental-health first aiders.
Crestbridge chief executive Heather Tibbo said: “We have a strong commitment as a business to promoting a culture of positive mental wellbeing in the workplace and to enabling our team, so they have the skills they need to support each other at work and in their personal lives.”
She continued: “I’m really pleased that, through our ongoing partnership with Youthful Minds and against the backdrop of Mental Health Awareness Week, so many of our team opted to take up this valuable opportunity to become accredited mental-health first aiders.”
Mental Health Awareness Week, which is currently taking place, is intended to increase awareness about mental health and wellbeing, educate the public on issues surrounding mental health, promote open dialogue and encourage individuals to seek help if needed.
