Mourant Ozannes previously acted on the acquisition of Travelex in January 2015 by a consortium led by UAE investment firm Centurion Investments and Abu Dhabi entrepreneur Dr. B. R. Sheety, chairman of UAE Exchange.
The financing was part of a larger US$890 million financing which will support the growth of UAE Exchange Centre LLC and Travelex.
The Mourant Ozannes team was led by partner James Hill and senior associate Andrew Salisbury, who worked closely with Linklaters as English legal advisers.
