Kirsty Thomas has joined as a Senior Associate, with responsibility for guiding the firm’s matrimonial practice. She is a specialist family lawyer having previously been based in London with a practice predominantly within the High Court, Queen’s Bench Division and the Principal Registry of the Family Division.

With extensive experience of all aspects of family breakdown, divorce, matrimonial finance, cohabitation and private children matters Kirsty Law is able to support and guide clients through what can be a difficult and emotional time.

She also retains her UK practising certificate and is therefore able to offer advice and assistance to clients whose cases straddle both jurisdictions.

James Sheedy joins the firm as an Associate, focusing on contentious trusts disputes and complex litigation.

He undertook his training in a specialist Chancery chambers in Lincoln’s Inn, London and specialises in traditional Chancery work and contentious trusts including breach of trust claims, issues of trust administration and trustee powers, and the enforcement of judgments against trustees.
