Viberts has announced a new addition to its Family Law team in Jersey.
English Solicitor Clare Woodhouse joins the law firm as a Managing Associate. She has over 22 years’ experience in family law, including divorce, financial settlements, child arrangements and cohabitation disputes.
Ms Woodhouse specialises in matrimonial cases, separations and children matters, both public and private. She has experience in cross jurisdiction children’s matters, including Hague Convention proceedings.
She trained in England and qualified as an English Solicitor in 2004.
The firm said Ms Woodhouse has a “strong reputation” for a “compassionate and strategic approach” to family law matters and is known for her ability to guide clients through complex legal issues with “clarity and confidence”.
“Clare is well known for her logical and analytical way of resolving matters for her clients,” Viberts said. “She regularly acts for clients who are very vulnerable with learning difficulties or mental health issues.”
Ms Woodhouse has also completed the Mind course and is a qualified Mental Health First Aider which “enables her to identify the mental health vulnerabilities of clients”.
