Corporate communications agency Crystal Public Relations has announced new leadership at the firm as it “looks to the future” and towards a “new era of growth”.
Adam Riddell has been appointed Managing Client Director and Alexander Sunier, son of the late company founder Mike Sunier, has become Commercial and Operations Director.
A highly experienced and well-regarded public relations professional, Mr Riddell has been described as a “stalwart of the company’s clients” for almost 20 years.
In his new role, he will undertake an enhanced client management role across the agency’s portfolio of clients and projects.
Mr Riddell holds both the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) Diploma in PR and Digital Communications. He is a Chartered Practitioner and Fellow of the CIPR and past Chair of the CIPR Channel Islands Branch.
Mr Sunier has over 12 years of experience in managing financial and operational processes at major global advertising and marketing agencies.
His career, spanning key roles in London and Sydney, has focused on optimising agency performance for a diverse portfolio of international clients, where he has managed budgets up to £2m in agency value.
Crystal PR was founded in 1994, marking its 30th anniversary last year. Since its formation, Crystal has advised local and internationally-focused corporate clients on their communications strategies in support of marketing and business plans.
While many of Crystal’s clients have their headquarters in Jersey or Guernsey, the agency said it has earned a reputation for the global reach of its consultancy services, extending to the UK and Europe, the Caribbean, the US, the Middle East and South-East Asia.
“Mike played a significant role in shaping the public relations landscape in the Channel Islands and in Crystal built a corporate communications agency that, over the past three decades, has earned tremendous respect amongst business leaders in Jersey, Guernsey and beyond,” said Mr Riddell.
“It is a privilege to pick up the baton and play a part in maintaining that trajectory as we continue to support clients in a rapidly evolving international corporate communications space.”
The new Managing Client Director added that he was “really pleased” to welcome Mr Sunier to the team.
“He brings with him a huge amount of international agency experience, having overseen comprehensive communication strategies for a broad range of global clients.
“That experience will undoubtedly help enhance the services we already provide to our blue-chip clients across the financial services, legal, digital and wider corporate sectors, as we look to grow our team and evolve our services further over the coming months.,” he said.
