Michael Betley has been named in the 2023 eprivateclient 50 Most Influential list – the definitive ranking of the key players in the UK and global offshore private client practitioner sector.
Mr Betley joined Ocorian in November 2021 when it acquired Trust Corporation International, which he co-founded in 2003.
He assists wealthy families and financial institutions in developing wealth management and estate planning strategies and is responsible for managing the global private client businesses and retains some client relationships which include sitting on the boards of private trust companies, investments funds and representing family interests as a protector.
Mr Betley has worked in London and Guernsey as a lawyer and has been an executive and non-executive director of several regulated businesses.
