I love arranging our annual conferences which is how I ‘champion’ family law. The events bring so many lovely, caring, brilliant people together.”

She added: “Sharing knowledge and making connections with people is so important in a small island and I am very proud to be working in the field of international family law.”

Advocate Barbara Corbett said: “Lizzie has been with Corbett Le Quesne since Nick and I founded the firm in 2017. Every year we hold sell-out conferences with some of the most prominent and respected legal minds in the UK coming here to deliver keynote speeches.

“She almost single-handedly arranges two of the largest annual conferences in the family law calendar. It is fantastic to see Lizzie’s hard work being recognised in this way.”

The award ceremony will be held next month at Park Plaza in Westminster, London.
