Partner Simon Dinning, Ogier’s Global Head of Corporate and Commercial who leads the English solicitor training programme across the firm, said: “Like any operation in the professional services sector, law firms rely on recruiting, developing and retaining talented people, and the trainee solicitor programme has been a major part of our talent strategy for the last 13 years.
“It is fantastic to see our the scheme going from strength to strength with trainees having the opportunity to work side-by-side with lawyers at all levels of the firm who have ‘graduated’ through the programme. The litigation course represents a challenging week for the trainees but I know it is an opportunity that they have all embraced and taken a huge amount from.”
The week was run in association with academics from Nottingham Law School, part of Nottingham Trent University, assisted by actors playing witness roles.
