Historically, Forward Group – an owner-managed fiduciary business headquartered in Jersey – was a subsidiary of GS Limited until 2018 when it separated and rebranded into the fully licensed trust company that exists today.
Since this time, Mr Asplet and Ms Gallichan’s focus has shifted to the accountancy practice and with the recent addition of Debbie du Feu to the Forward Group board, it has been agreed that now is a perfect time for them to step away to allow for a complete focus on GS Limited.
The two businesses will remain closely linked. Forward Group directors Alun Griffiths, Simon Voisin and Ms du Feu said they are ready for the next phase to drive the business forward in the international private and corporate client arena.
