Jamie Mourant is joining the discretionary investment management team, having previously spent nine years at Brooks Macdonald.
Mr Mourant, who will be involved in the research and decision-making processes for the company’s five discretionary funds, said one of the greatest challenges in his new role would be navigating the current market volatility.
He added: “I am passionate about client service and look forward to managing a wide range of discretionary portfolios and growing the client base in Jersey by providing investment services to private clients, trustees, financial advisors and charities.”
