John retired as Chief Executive Officer for HSBC Investments (International) Limited in 2007. He has over 40 years of finance sector experience gained through senior appointments both in the UK and in Jersey, having moved from the UK in 1975.
He is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers, a Fellow of the Securities Institute and a Fellow of the Institute of Directors.
