The 32-year-old former Sports Editor will join after nearly 10 years of reporting on local and global sporting events, and most recently hosting a weekly Saturday Sportscene programme.
Jersey Sport CEO Catriona McAllister described the appointment as a “milestone for Jersey Sport.”
“Tim comes with an unrivalled knowledge of sport and sporting organisations on the Island and is uniquely placed to help sports tell their story and ensure that the invaluable contribution sport and physical activity makes to life on our beautiful Island is recognised,” she commented.

Thanking his former employer, Mr Pryor added: “I’ve been lucky enough to report from the Island Games in Bermuda, from above the clouds in San Marino and even turned my hand to half an hour of live bowls commentary at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.
“I’ve enjoyed travelling the world to tell the stories of the exploits of Jersey’s sportsmen and women, but now I’m excited about the fresh challenge of helping our elite athletes on the pathway to future successes and generally trying to play my part in creating a healthier Island.”
