In her new role, Ms Durrell, who worked on large scale infrastructure projects in the UK, will report to co-founder and managing director Mark Brandon.
“To continue our rapid growth and deliver on our vision to maximise the adoption of locally generated renewable energy in Jersey, we were looking for the right person to support us,” Mr Brandon said.
“We are delighted to welcome Georgie – her career background and commitment to the environmental challenge is evident in her hard work.”
Ms Durrell added: “I am delighted to be joining Sun Works at such an exciting time. I enjoy the variety of roles offered by the position and excited by the opportunities we have to utilise solar energy in Jersey and catch up with other jurisdictions.”
