The telecoms firm says it confirms the popularity of the decision to introduce competition into the marketplace.
Graham Hughes, CEO of Sure Jersey said: “We’ve been extremely pleased with our performance in the landline market since it was opened up to competition.”
“Evidence from markets around the world shows that there’s a great deal of inertia in fixed line services once they’ve been opened up to competition but our performance suggests that islanders were eager to be given a choice.
“Crucially, we’ve worked hard to provide better value services than our competitors, principally by offering bundles of broadband, mobile and landline services that are very attractive to customers. However, I believe it’s our intense focus on customer service and our constant work to improve the experience for our clients that has seen so many people decide to switch landline provider.”
