As the Head of Economic Crime, Commander Baxter oversees investigations including complex fraud, money laundering, overseas anti-corruption, intellectual property as well as the Economic Crime Academy.

She is the National Co-Ordinator for Fraud and Economic Crime and works with forces across the UK to improve the policing response to Fraud.
She will present on ‘A review of changes in Economic Crime in 2019 and the future trajectory’ at the BPP event.
“Economic crime, along with cyber, accounts for over half of all crime in the UK, is the fastest growing crime globally. Are we, in law enforcement and the financial sector, prepared?” she questioned.
Other speakers at the Symposium will include the JFSC’s Director General Martin Moloney, Deputy Director at The Office of Financial Sanctions Implementation, Appleby Partner Michael Cushing, and Gianluca Esposito from The Group of States against Corruption (GRECO), Council of Europe.
