Four of Jersey’s senior ministers are set to be put on the spot by the Island’s business community over how the new Government plans to deliver economic growth.

Economic Development Minister Deputy Gerald Voisin, Treasury Minister Senator Alan Maclean, Social Security Minister Senator Elaine Millar and Planning and Regulation Minister Senator Sir Mark Boleat will form the panel at the Institute of Directors Jersey Leaders’ Lunch in November.

The discussion will examine the Government’s plans for economic growth, productivity and competitiveness, as well as the conditions facing businesses in the Island.

IoD Jersey chair Alex Ruddy said the event would “provide an important opportunity for Jersey’s directors and business leaders to hear directly from ministers about their priorities and vision for the Island”.

“It is also an opportunity for the business community to engage with government and contribute to the conversation about how we create the conditions for long-term economic success and prosperity,” she added.
