Sixteen local charities and non-profit organisations have been announced as the beneficiaries of the 2026 Saffery Rotary Walk, one of the Bailiwick’s most anticipated and impactful community fundraising events.
Taking place on Saturday 6 June 2026, the iconic 39-mile coastal challenge will once again bring together local and visiting walkers of all ages and abilities to raise vital funds for charitable causes across the islands.
Following a record-breaking year in 2025, which saw more than 1,200 walkers take part and over £100,000 raised for charity, organisers are expecting another strong turnout as participants sign up to support this year’s chosen beneficiaries.
The 16 charities selected for 2026 span a broad range of community-focused initiatives, including healthcare, wellbeing, sport, social support, arts, and leisure. Together, they reflect the vital role the third sector plays in supporting islanders at every stage of life.
Funds raised through the Walk will go directly to the beneficiary charities, for specific projects and initiatives helping them continue their essential work within the Bailiwick.
Simon Milsted, Walk Chairman, said: “The Saffery Rotary Walk continues to be a powerful example of what our community can achieve when people come together with a shared purpose. Last year’s incredible participation and fundraising total showed just how much this event means to the islands.

The Saffery Rotary Walk is open to participants of all fitness levels and abilities, with many walkers choosing to take on the full route while others complete sections as part of teams.
