Sark will welcome the return of the Guernsey Music Centre this summer, as young musicians from Guernsey travel to the island for a special daytime concert on Saturday 4 July at La Seigneurie.
The visit will feature performances by the Youth Training Orchestra and the Youth Wind Band, providing an opportunity for talented young performers to showcase their work in one of Sark’s most unique settings. The concert forms part of a day visit to the island and follows a previous successful trip in 2021.

Tim Wright, Head of Guernsey Music Service, said: “We are delighted to be visiting Sark to perform at La Seigneurie this summer with our Youth Training Orchestra and our Youth Wind Band. We last performed on Sark in 2021 and received such a warm reception, we are really excited to be coming back again.
“This time we are bringing 2 of our slightly younger groups to give them the opportunity to perform and enjoy a day trip to Sark and all the wonderful things on offer on the island.
“We hope to see as many people at the concert as possible and are grateful to La Seigneurie for providing such a great venue.”
The event is expected to bring a lively atmosphere to the island, offering residents and visitors alike the chance to enjoy live music performed by emerging young musicians.
