Nature Guernsey, in collaboration with the Archaeology section, invites you to explore the rich coastal biodiversity of Guernsey at the “Crabs and Crocks at Cow Bay” event.
This outing is scheduled for Saturday, 29th March from 12:00 to 13:00 at Cow Bay, located below Castle Cornet. Attendees should meet at the beginning of Castle emplacement.
During this low spring tide event, participants will have the opportunity to search for crabs and crockery, amidst other marine and historical treasures. This family-friendly exploration is not only a chance to learn about local wildlife but also offers a glimpse into the island’s archaeological past.
Nature Guernsey, a part of La Société established in 2018, organises events designed to engage families and introduce both members and non-members to the environmental and historical significance of Guernsey. While the event is free, donations to support ongoing environmental efforts are greatly appreciated.
Attendees are advised to wear suitable footwear for beach exploration. Please note that the event is weather-dependent. Updates, including any changes due to weather conditions, will be available at Nature Guernsey’s Facebook page: www.facebook.com/natureguernsey.
Come join us for an educational and fun day at Cow Bay!
