Orca’s annual performance fundraiser was held at Beau Sejour on Saturday 4 October and proved to be its most successful event yet.
It raised over £3,000, 100% of which goes directly into the funding pot.
The theatre was full to the rafters with a packed audience and over 150 of Guernsey’s talented young people performing.
Local actor and director Mike Sullivan-Pugh hosted the night’s proceedings with aplomb.
Orca’s patron, Sir Richard McMahon, Bailiff, said: “There was an incredible amount of talent on display at this year’s Orca showcase event. There was everything from instrumentalists, singers, dancers and actors, all performing at the highest level. Guernsey punches above its weight when it comes to the performing arts and we should all be very proud of the young talent we have in the island.”
The annual event will take place again in October 2026, so please follow Orca on Facebook (@OrcaCharitableLBG) or at www.orca.gg to be the first to hear about it!
