The GSPCA helps 100’s of dogs every year and care for 1000’s through our boarding service and this week we celebrated one of the dogs in our care’s first birthday.
Yesterday we celebrated Simba’s first birthday and we are appealing for donations an x-ray on his hips which was discovered just before he turned one.

Seb Goman GSPCA Senior Animal Care Assistant and Welfare Officer tells us: “Our goofy boy had the best birthday, full of love, treats, and plenty of playtime just the way he likes it! He’s such a big character and never fails to make us smile.
“Simba is currently available for rehoming, but he is scheduled for an X-ray soon to investigate an undiagnosed issue. Once this has been looked into, he’ll be ready to find his forever home.
“He’s a fun loving, one year old Bully Type who will need an experienced home where he can continue to thrive and be his happy, silly self.
“We are currently asking for donations to help support Simba’s ongoing care and upcoming vet costs. Every contribution makes a difference and helps us give dogs like Simba the care they deserve.
