'First Cut is The Deepest', 'Angel of the Morning', 'If You Think You’re Groovy'. An American soul singer with a unique sound - not to be missed! The legendary PP Arnold is performing at the Jersey Opera House on Friday 6 October to celebrate 50 years in the music business and the belated release of her lost album, 'Turning Tide' produced by Bee Gee Barry Gibb and Eric Clapton.
One of the iconic faces of London’s Swinging 60s PP Arnold was discovered by Mick Jagger when she was with the ‘Ike & Tina Revue’. She has worked with such greats as Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, The Small Faces, Primal Scream and her own band ‘The Nice’. Her new album, The Turning Tide (Kundalini Music), is the “long lost” recording made by PP back in the sixties, produced by Bee Gee Barry Gibb and Eric Clapton, an album PP never thought would see the light of day after almost five decades locked away in the vaults.
