Appleby Fiduciary Business (AFB) has been shortlisted for ‘Trust Company of the Year’ in the prestigious Citywealth Magic Circle Awards 2016.
The awards celebrate the best advisors and managers in the global wealth management industry and follow AFB’s recent success at the Citywealth International Financial Centre Awards in January where it was named runner up ‘Trust Company of the Year’ in both Jersey and the Isle of Man.
Chief Executive Officer Farah Ballands has also been included in the shortlist for ‘Women in Wealth Management’ in WealthBriefing’s European Awards 2016. The category recognises women in private banking or wealth management who are an inspiration to both female clients and colleagues.
Both the WealthBriefing and Citywealth awards ceremonies will be held in London in May.
Mrs Ballands said: "AFB’s private client team works in close collaboration to deliver a personal service and trusted solutions to our longstanding clients. The Citywealth shortlisting highlights the team’s commitment to providing a quality experience to clients; this ethos will hold the company in good stead for the upcoming launch of our new brand identity.
"It is gratifying to be shortlisted alongside such a range of professional and highly capable women in the WealthBriefing awards."
AFB completed a management buyout from the Appleby Group on 31st December 2015.
