Facilities management company, AFM, has expanded into new premises at CTV House on La Pouquelaye.

The company says the new offices will accommodate a total of 61 office-based employees in Jersey, compared to its previous office at Britannia Place, which could only accommodate 40 employees.

"Our business has grown significantly over the last nine years with multiple new service lines, together with a support team and infrastructure to match. Our colleagues have worked incredibly hard to build the business and therefore, for our team, our clients and the future of our business, it was the right time to invest in new premises. Our projects, mechanical and electrical teams have done a fantastic job refurbishing the offices and we are excited to take the business to the next stage of its development," said AFM’s Managing Director, Mark Edgar.

To reduce its carbon footprint, AFM has installed new technology, including an energy efficient hybrid air-conditioning system and light level sensing system: the light sensing detects ambient light levels and adjusts to provide an optimum level of lighting irrespective of outside conditions. A fingerprint recognition door entry system has also been fitted.

"The new office provides a much improved environment and platform for the now unified divisions of the business to support the delivery of AFM’s services. Collaborative working is easily achieved in a comfortable environment with room to grow as AFM continues to develop its customer base. It’s simply a great place to work," said Ian Spry, AFM’s Commercial Manager.
