AFM has secured a five-year contract with Andium Homes to provide electrical and plumbing support to 4,600 properties.
AFM general manager, Philip Le Claire, who manages the contract, said that the facilities management company had already received positive feedback from clients of Andium Homes.
"We have been able to respond to their needs and provide a fast, efficient and professional service," he said.
"Our engineers are all highly trained individuals who have been selected for their customer care skills and have received safeguarding and disability awareness training to help us deliver appropriate services to our customers, regardless of their specific needs. I’m delighted with the team’s efforts so far and we hope Andium clients are enjoying the benefits of our service."
AFM employs qualified technicians and tradesmen, who are on hand to efficiently respond to plumbing or electrical problems. Up to 10 engineers and a mixture of electricians, plumbers, carpenters and decorators have been working on the contract to date.
Andium Homes’ head of property maintenance, Stephen Lilley, said: "Tailoring operational services to align with clients’ wishes and expectations is a key commitment of Andium Homes, and the delivery of this contract was only possible with direct input from client representatives.
"We are delighted with the many positive comments and feedback from our clients since the commencement of this new approach to providing response repairs."
