Ashburton event to shine spotlight on 2015 financial market headlines

Monday 16 November 2015

Huw Edwards, renowned broadcaster and lead anchor for the UK’s most watched evening news programme is coming to Jersey to host Ashburton Investment's 'Have We Got Investment News for You'.

The event at the Radisson Blu Hotel on 26 November starts at 5pm and will focus on key investment market issues from the past twelve months.

A panel of investment experts from Ashburton Investments will discuss some of the biggest headlines from financial markets in 2015 and shine a light on what 2016 might hold in store.

In a twist from normal investment presentations, the audience will be able to decide the evening’s discussion from a selection of topics, chosen via an electronic voting system.  In addition, Ashburton Investments CEO Boshoff Grobler will be grilled by Huw Edwards about his future plans for the company.

Managing Director of Ashburton Investments, Peter Bourne, said of the evening in store: “2015 has been an eventful year. We feel it is important to explain to our clients how major market issues are impacting our investment decisions, especially looking forward to next year. By giving the audience the power to lead the conversation, we’ll be able to discuss the topics that are most important and relevant to them. We are also very pleased to have Huw Edwards on board, who will add his own unique style to the event. It promises to be an entertaining and insightful evening.”
