BDO Greenlight appoints senior operational and transformation expert

Thursday 15 February 2018

BDO Greenlight has appointed Peter Charalambous as a Senior Consultant to lead substantial change programmes.

A former senior executive, Mr Charalambous is a member of the Institute of Directors, a Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment, and has been appointed as a lay board member for the Jersey Criminal Injuries Compensation Board and a Commissioner for the Jersey Appointments Commission.

He said: “BDO Greenlight operates at the forefront of change and I’m looking forward to working with the company on some very exciting, substantial change projects and programmes.

“Businesses in the Channel Islands are in the process of making significant changes across all areas as they prepare for the implementation of EU GDPR and other major regulatory initiatives taking effect this year. This is a hands-on role, created as BDO Greenlight moves into new services, and I expect to be very busy.”

Eliot Lincoln, Managing Director, BDO Greenlight, said: “Peter has held a number of very senior roles throughout his long career and we are delighted to be able to bring his vast skillset and many years of experience to BDO Greenlight and our clients.

“Many of the companies we work with are part of multi-national operations. Peter has worked and lived in many parts of the globe, bringing together teams, aligning data, and improving systems in a way that is likely to be an ever-greater part of how businesses in Jersey operate.”
