BDO Greenlight appoints two graduate consultants

Monday 04 June 2018

BDO Greenlight has appointed two Islanders to its graduate consultant programme, which was launched last year.

Over the next 18 months, Jade Le Gresley and Laura Voinescu will receive on-the-job training, working alongside – and being mentored by – some of Jersey’s top change consultants, while workning across different areas of the firm's services.

They will have the opportunity to gain project management and business analysis qualifications and ultimately progress onto being a ‘consultant'.

Former graduate consultant, Adam Vibert, is now a fully-fledged member of the BDO Greenlight consultancy team, having worked on a range of engagements. He is now mentoring one of the new graduates.

Ms Le Gresley said: “I wanted a change in my career and I had been thinking about getting into project management after completing a number of projects in my previous job in banking. I like seeing tangible results and motivating people who might be resistant to change. Already, I am thoroughly enjoying being on this programme. I’ve been able to support other consultants on what they are doing and have also been given some internal projects to help give me a taste of leading and owning an initiative.”

Ms Voinescu said: “BDO Greenlight is dynamic and results-oriented firm and it is refreshing to know that the input of a graduate consultant like myself is trusted and valued. It is a fast-paced environment, but I am receiving a lot of support from my new colleagues. I’m really looking forward to making a positive contribution, both to the team and our clients.”

Director Allam Zia said: “Jade and Laura have both hit the ground running – not only are they eager to learn and develop but they have brought their own valuable insights to the team. We’re delighted that this programme is attracting such talent and to provide a fantastic opportunity for young Islanders to launch their career within a highly- regarded professional services firm.”
