Offshore cloud service provider Calligo has opened an office in Guernsey to service its growing business in the bailiwick.

And to support the business, Calligo has made two new staff appointments: Graham Elliott as chief cloud operations officer and cloud architect, Mark Duddy.

Mr Elliot was previously open systems server senior manager at Allied Irish Bank. He will be responsible for the service, project delivery and development of the Calligo platform.

Mr Duddy joins Calligo from Intertrust where he was responsible for all ICT systems and a team of four staff. He holds a BTEC in Electronic Engineering and is Cisco, VMware and Microsoft certified.

CEO and co-founder of Calligo, Julian Box, said: “I’m excited to welcome both Graham and Mark to the Calligo team. Their experience in customer service-centric roles is a great addition to our skill set. Graham’s experience within the financial services market, as a technology user, will be a great asset for our clients and Mark’s focus on support is a great complement to our highly experienced team.”
